Community
At Morrows we believe every child deserves a bright future and are committed to seeing every young person reach his or her true potential. As a reflection of this belief, we are proud to be a supporter of the Les Twentyman Foundation, as we share the principles that a safe environment is a fundamental prerequisite for every child’s development.
Unfortunately, not all young people have the privilege to grow up in a safe environment. Over 8,000 Victorian children and young people are living in out-of-home-care arrangements as their family environments are reported violent or unsafe. It is our mission that our collaboration with the Les Twentyman Foundation can minimise the trauma that young people experience when growing up in unsafe conditions.
About the Les Twentyman Foundation
Established in 1984, the Les Twentyman Foundation is dedicated to helping and supporting Victorian at-risk youths by providing crucial programs, services, and resources to help them get back on their feet and re-connect with the community. Their mission is to provide positive intervention and unconditional support for all children subject to community issues such as youth homelessness, drug abuse, prison reform and social welfare. The Les Twentyman Foundation is committed to encouraging the participation of this vulnerable target group by actively listening to their voices and taking all complaints and allegations seriously. Their zero-tolerance approach to child abuse ensures that children in the Les Twentyman Foundation community are protected from any harm.
