myDeductions makes it easier and more convenient for you to keep your individual income tax-related deductions all in one place.
Who is it for?
It’s for individuals claiming work-related expenses as an employee, not for small business owners, or sole traders.
You can use the myDeductions tool to:
- capture and classify work-related expenses, gifts and donations, the cost of managing your tax affairs, expenses incurred in earning interest or dividends and other deductions not claimable elsewhere in the tax return.
- store photographs of receipts.
- record car trips.
Whether you lodge your own return or use Morrows, you can use the myDeductions tool to keep your deduction records. This year at tax time, you can either upload the completed deductions to the ATO and they will pre-fill your individual income tax return, or you can share your deductions data with us via email.
You will never miss out on a deduction claim because of a lost or faded receipt again.
