A law clerk in our legal team, Lauri Reid was admitted as an Australian Legal Practitioner in the Supreme Court of Melbourne on 16 May 2017.
Lauri has worked in the legal sector for in excess of 10 years. Her journey began with studies at TAFE which led to a position at the Melbourne Magistrates Court as a Clerk of Court.
Although she now holds a double degree in Criminology and Law, the experience of dealing with Court patrons down south in the Frankston and Dandenong Courts, ultimately swayed her decision to choose to practice corporate and commercial law. Lauri’s journey to admission has been a long and arduous journey, which saw her spending 8 years studying at university whilst working in law firms and raising a family.
Lauri elected to study taxation, superannuation, financial crime and international commercial law, in addition to the core requirements of a bachelor of laws, which has provided her with the background and knowledge to fit in with the practice areas at Morrows.
