Morrows welcomed two very special guests to our Annual Footy Colours Day event on Thursday 29th September 2016, as we anticipated the AFL Grand Final.
We were delighted to feature Women’s AFL and celebrate the Western Bulldogs and Swans participation in the ultimate game, and thrilled to have some very special guests join the Morrows Footy Panel. Moana Hope, high profile Women’s AFL Football player for the Collingwood Football Club (formerly represented the Western Bulldogs with distinction) and Susan Alberti, a key player in establishing Women’s football across the country and board member of the Western Bulldogs. Susan also maintains a strong relationship with Moana and acts as her mentor.
Both Moana and Susan recently appeared on the ABC’s Australian Story, and are major driving forces behind the upcoming launch of the National AFL Women’s League in February 2017.
Clients, staff, family and friends enjoyed a footy panel discussion featuring Moana and Susan as we rallied together to raise an impressive $2,300.00 for the Fight Cancer Foundation.
It was a wonderful day featuring guest speeches, a Calcutta, footy debate and kids activities…and there was a lot of love in the room for those Bulldogs.
