Graeme highlighted the need to incorporate Family Constitutions, the role of the Advisory Board, the importance of Shareholder Meetings, the requirements of a Family Council and a Family Assembly as a means to effectively control, manage and develop the successful intergenerational transfer of family wealth for successors.

Kiren Chitkara (to learn more about Kiren click here) Morrows Legal estate planning specialist presented on the new legislative changes to the Powers of Attorney Act 2014 (Vic) coming into force from 1 September 2015. This Act will consolidate Powers of Attorney for financial and personal matters and also create new powers under the legislation.
