Morrows Tree Planting Day 2015

Morrows employees braved the winter chill to get their hands dirty and support long-term Morrows community partner Landcare Victoria last month.

This is the fourth year that this partnership has occurred between Landcare and Morrows on bushfire affected properties and the outcome is phenomenal – friendships are being forged, landholders whose properties were affected are blown away by the generosity of the company’s employees, including the fact even several of the CEO’s come and spent the morning planting before finishing the day with a well earned BBQ and a chat before heading back to Melbourne.

Our efforts to help re-vegetate areas affected by the recent bush fires were greatly appreciated by Landcare, the local community and land owners.

Morrows has been partnering with Landcare Victoria for several years to support revegetation projects and again we came together as a team and achieved our goal of giving back to the community, and had a wonderful day out in the process.

We thoroughly enjoyed being green thumbs for the day, individually we each gained firsthand knowledge and experience of the devastation from the fires.
