Making Summertime Mango Memories at Coles
The team at Morrows wishes to congratulate long-term client Stephen Reed and his business partner Marie Piccone, Managing Director and part owner at Manbulloo Mangoes, who has recently won the 2015 Telstra Australian Business Women’s Entrepreneur Award.

Stephen acted as an equity participant at Manbulloo and has been the Financial Controller since 2005. The Company is now the largest producer of Kensington Pride mangoes in Australia, but success in the early years did not come easily for the Northern Territory mango growers. Hard work and determination has paid off this last financial year after the Company committed to be a major supplier to Coles.
From its farms in Katherine and Townsville, Manbulloo tripled the amount of mangoes it supplied to Coles in 2014-15 compared to the previous year and now with a recently purchased farm in Mareeba, they now have the capability to supply throughout the entire season.
Following this milestone year, Manbulloo has recently won Coles Supplier of the Year Award which celebrate excellence in providing merchandise, services and goods not-for-resale across the business – you may have also seen Marie and her mangoes featured recently in the latest Coles advertisement with celebrity chef Curtis Stone.
