Kellie is an integral member of the Morrows Taxation and Business Advice team. We sat down recently with Kellie to learn more about her and her interests.
What brought you to Morrows and what were your first impressions?
Morrows welcomed me into the firm in September 2015, after working as a Financial Controller for 4 years in industry I was looking to return to my origins of accounting and tax.
From day one with Morrows I was impressed by the high standards and quality of service that is delivered by the Firm to Clients. I am very excited to be a part of the team working towards achieving the Morrows Vision.
What is your background and what do you enjoy most about your work?
I was born in Geelong and moved to Melbourne in my early twenties. I’ve always had a passion for accounting and decided by my mid twenties to obtain the qualifications required to secure my career in an industry that I loved.
It was a long and challenging journey and in 2009 I was very pleased to qualify as a Chartered Accountant. The thing I love most about my work is being able to help clients achieve their goals.
What is your greatest strength?
My greatest strengths are my enthusiasm and professionalism.
If you weren’t a Tax and Business Advisor what would you be?
A Chief Financial Officer
Favourite Travel Destination?
Magnetic Island, it’s a family holiday destination in Northern Queensland that we visit every couple of years to unwind and relax.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love spending time with family and friends, we only live once and I strive to make the most of it.
